Everything you need to know about Scope3D
Get quick answers about our BIM digital twin platform — from how it works to data, pricing, and support.
Scope3D turns your existing Revit, BIM, and construction files — along with drawings, PDFs, scans, or prior renovation data — into a fast, web-native, AI-readable 3D twin. Owners, contractors, architects, and operators design, scope, price, renovate, forecast CapEx, and run the building from one persistent source of truth.
Scope3D supports Revit(.rvt), BIM, and common CAD export formats including DWG and DXF. If you're working in Revit, our native exporter produces the richest twin with full element metadata and system relationships intact.
Most projects are live within one business day of upload. Our automated pipeline processes your BIM model, extracts element data, and builds the navigable twin — no manual configuration required. Complex models with thousands of linked files may take a few hours longer.
Access is fully role-based. You choose who sees what: project owners, contractors, consultants, and clients can each have tailored permission levels — from full edit access to read-only views of specific floors or disciplines.
Yes. Scope3D connects with tools like Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Microsoft Teams, and common issue-tracking platforms. Changes flagged in Scope3D can automatically push updates to linked project management workflows.
BIM is built for design and construction. Scope3D turns building data into a fast, web-native, AI-readable operating layer that stays useful long after the project ends — rooms, assets, scopes, costs, documents, and every future decision tied to the actual building.
We ship updates on a continuous delivery cycle, with feature releases roughly every two weeks. Security patches and critical fixes are deployed immediately. Your twin data and settings are never affected by platform updates.
All updates are documented in our Changelog page. You'll find release notes organized by date, with clear labels for new features, improvements, and bug fixes. Subscribe to our changelog via email from that page.
Yes — platform improvements are applied automatically at the infrastructure level. You don't need to do anything. Your projects continue working exactly as before, and new features appear in your interface on the release date.
Your existing digital twins and all project data are completely unaffected. We test every release against a full suite of real project data before it reaches production. Breaking changes, if ever required, come with a 90-day advance notice.
Absolutely. Feature requests from customers drive a significant portion of our roadmap. Submit requests directly from inside the platform using the "Request a feature" button, or email us at hello@wereno.com with your use case.
You can subscribe to release announcements from your account notification settings. We also post major release summaries to our LinkedIn page and send a monthly product digest to all active subscribers.
Scope3D stores your uploaded BIM model files, extracted element metadata (asset names, IDs, properties), user accounts, and project activity logs. We do not store personal data beyond what's needed to operate your account. Your models are stored in encrypted cloud storage and are never used for training or shared.
Only the people you invite. Access is entirely controlled by your team — you assign roles and permissions per building. Scope3D staff cannot view your content without explicit written permission from the account owner, and even then only for verified support purposes.
Yes. All data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.3. Data at rest is encrypted using AES-256. Model files and project metadata are stored in isolated, encrypted cloud buckets. We perform regular penetration testing and security audits on the platform.
Yes. You can export all your data at any time from your account settings. To permanently delete your account and all associated project data, contact us at hello@wereno.com. We process all deletion requests within 14 business days and confirm completion by email.
No. Scope3D does not sell or share your project data, BIM models, or user information with any third parties. We use infrastructure providers (hosting, storage) who are bound by strict data processing agreements and are prohibited from accessing your data.
All Scope3D infrastructure is hosted on enterprise cloud providers with data centres in Canada and the United States. Enterprise customers with specific data residency requirements can request region-locked storage — contact us to discuss your needs.
Your Scope3D subscription includes unlimited project uploads (within your storage tier), digital twin creation, role-based stakeholder access, AI-powered asset intelligence, issue tracking, and email support. Higher tiers add dedicated onboarding, API access, and SLA-backed uptime guarantees.
Yes. All Scope3D plans are month-to-month unless you've chosen annual billing. You can cancel from your account settings at any time. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period — we don't charge cancellation fees.
Your project data and digital twins remain accessible for 30 days after cancellation so you can export everything. After 30 days, all data is permanently deleted. We recommend exporting your models and reports before cancelling if you need them for archive.
Start with a 3D Twin Assessment: upload one building and Scope3D builds a working 3D twin from your Revit, BIM, or construction files so you can design, scope, price, and forecast CapEx against the actual building. From there, scope a pilot or roll Scope3D out across your portfolio.
Yes. We offer volume discounts for teams of 10 or more, and custom enterprise pricing for large building portfolios or multi-project programs. Contact us at hello@wereno.com for a tailored quote.
You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from your account billing page. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle. Prorated credits are applied automatically when upgrading mid-cycle.
