IFC Import

Bring an IFC model straight into Scope3D — geometry and data intact,
and work from one live, owned 3D twin.

Import IFC

This integration brings your building's IFC file straight into Scope3D as one
live, owned 3D twin,
geometry and data intact so you can scope work on one live
model.

How it works:

1

Open Scope3D in your browser and create a new twin, then choose
Import from a file.

2

Pick your IFC file and drop it in — Scope3D reads
the geometry and the data on it

3

Watch Scope3D build the twin — walls and rooms in seconds.

4

Your live twin opens in the browser —
every element keeps its IFC data.

5

To export back to IFC

  • Open the Export menu on the twin and choose Export to IFC.
  • Scope3D writes a fresh IFC that carries your geometry edits and your finish data back with it.
  • Download the new file. IFC is the only export — Revit and everything else reads it through their own IFC import, which is a one-way handoff rather than a live link.
IFC Export

Export your twin back to IFC, geometry edits and finish data intact. Revit opens it through its own IFC import — a one-way handoff, not a live link.

Own the twin of your building

Bring the files you already have. We will show you the twin you keep for the life of the building.
