Snowdon Towers is a demo twin used to show discipline layers rather than a customer deployment. Four consultant models are combined into one building that stays tagged by trade, so any discipline can be isolated or hidden without splitting the file back apart.
The problem this example is built around: each discipline holds its own file and its own idea of where things are. Coordination means exporting, overlaying and arguing, and clashes get found by whoever happens to look rather than by anyone checking.
It reads as one building again. Hide every trade but the one in question, and what is left is still in the right place.
Worked example On the Snowdon Towers demo twin — not a customer deployment
Each discipline stays tagged inside the combined model, so any trade can be hidden or isolated without splitting the file. The structure stays where the architecture says it is, because both are being read from the same twin.
Because each consultant model is a tagged layer inside the same twin, coordination happens on one building rather than by exporting four files and overlaying them.
